Crane, a quiet, old-world-feeling shop near Rockefeller Center, has beautiful, classic-looking stationery. You can pop in and pick up a boxed set of anything from thank you notes to letter-writing paper to calling cards (which range in price anywhere from $12 to way more expensive), or you can sit down and create personalized stationery (which ranges in price from around $100 and up). The shop isn’t as lavish as Smythoson (in either price or ambiance), but it’s definitely more extravagant than, say, Lee Art Supply or Paper Presentation.
