Both fashion designers and fashion editors alike tipped us off to Mood Designer Fabrics, a fabric store with rolls and rolls of colorful textiles stacked from floor to ceiling. Occupying two floors of an office building in the Garment District, this spacious shop, which is always buzzing with creative energy, stocks every kind of fabric imaginable, ranging from cottons and denims to vintage French silks and linens. However, what we love most about Mood is that it carries fabrics that designers such as Marc Jacobs and Anna Sui use for their lines.
