One urbanista who was having a “panic in [her] hair and [her] bank account” took Urbanista’s advice and dashed over to Panyc, a small salon on 15th and 8th, to get her locks cut and colored. She was delighted with the outcome. (And so were we; in fact, we’re secretly jealous of her super stylish new bangs…) While the salon is not a wine-and-dine-you kind of place (ie, don’t expect a glass of Veuve while you wait for your dye job to set), the stylists are professional and personable, and you’ll get a really good cut and color for a price that won’t force you to eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for dinner for the rest of the month.
