Haven, a tranquil spa in SoHo, is a fab place to go for bikini waxes, mani/pedis, and facials. A bikini wax from one of the spa’s waxing specialists is $18 (a brazilian is $40), and solid mani-pedis cost $19 and $38 respectively. If you are short on cash or time but still want the benefit of an after-facial glow, try the $65 half-hour facial–it’s one of the best deals on the menu. The spa’s waiting room has soft lighting and earthy hues, which gives off a relaxing vibe; however, we do feel that the waxing treatment rooms are a touch more sterile feeling than other top-notch spas (think bright fluorescent lighting).
